The Philadelphia Phillies reached a minor league deal today with free agent pitcher Josh Fogg. Fogg, who originally signed a minor league deal with the Mets back in January, was released from the Mets organization this month.

Fogg, 39, has experience in the majors as a starter, and as a reliever. Last year, in 24 appearances with the Colorado Rockies as a reliever, Fogg went 0-2 with a 3.74 ERA in 45.2 innings pitched. However, Fogg struggled in the minors last year as he pitched 40.3 innings and had a 5.80 ERA.

The Phillies also signed pitcher Ty Taubenheim to a minor league contract. Taubenheim,27, posted a 3.65 ERA in 106 innings for the Pittsburgh Pirates triple A affiliate last year.
