Call to the Pen is Looking for MLB Writers

As a cornerstone of the FanSided Network’s MLB coverage, our goal here at Call to the Pen has always been to cover every aspect of the game. It requires a strong staff of writers to provide all of the content that we can, so CttP is looking to add to our team. We’re in search of passionate and opinionated fans of Major League Baseball with a working knowledge of all 30 teams and an interest in writing about the game. If you’re looking for an opportunity to have your work read by thousands, CttP could be the place for you.

The FanSided Network continues to grow and reach a broader audience. With our content partnership with Sports Illustrated our work is also featured at SI.com, making it a certainty that what you write won’t go unnoticed.

We’re primarily looking for individuals who are passionate about the game and want to share their voice with countless readers. Topics are wide open and generally up to our writers, so long as they are baseball-related in some way. Opinionated columns are key, provided you know what you’re talking about and can back up your opinions with actual knowledge.

Prior experience writing in an online platform is also beneficial, but certainly not required. With a growing collection of writers within the network, there’s a great group to learn from, network with, and help you out along the way – making this a great place to get started if you’re an aspiring journalist, budding writer, or just simple someone looking to expand on a hobby.
