Baseball Hall of Fame Ballot Revealed

A combined seven Cy Youngs and three MVPs on the 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot.

A total of 36 players will be vying for election into the Baseball Hall of Fame for the Class of 2014. There are 19 newcomers to the ballot along with 17 holdovers. The most notables holdovers: Craig Biggio, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, Jack Morris, Rafael Palmeiro, and Sammy Sosa.

Among those on the ballot for the first time include Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux and Frank Thomas.

Ballots must be postmarked by December 31. The results will be announced at 2 p.m., EST, Wednesday, January 8, 2014, and the web sites of the Hall of Fame and the BBWAA, and will be televised on MLB Network.
