Fifth Third Ballpark, Home of Tigers’ Single-A Affiliate, Is On Fire

A fire has broken out at Fifth Third Ballpark, the home of the Detroit Tigers’ Single-A Affiliate West Michigan Whitecaps. John Gonzalez of MLive is one the scene posting images to Twitter.

Just going by the images, the fire seems to have begun in the press box area above the stands. Reporters on the scene say a section of the stands has collapsed. Authorities are telling the public to stay away from Fifth Third Ballpark for obvious reasons.
