Besides Skinny CC Sabathia, Hank the Ballpark Pup has been the feel good story of the spring so far.

The adorable little pooch was discovered wandering around the Brewers spring training facility in Arizona a couple weeks back, and since then has been adopted by the team as an unofficial mascot.

Stray dogs being adopted by athletes is kind of a thing this year, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Hank the Ballpark Pup is now A-list. He’s so big, he’s even running with the world-famous Racing Sausages.

I’m normally against dressing dogs up in costumes, but I’ll make an exception for Hank’s little hot dog outfit.

In that costume, he looks more like a Frank than a Hank.

The Brewers are currently trying to find a permanent home for Hank, but if no one steps up and adopts him, they say they’ll take him north when camp breaks.

He can be their very own Hit Dog. Sorry Mo Vaughn.
