The Ian Kinsler Affair is widening in scope, now bringing in other ex-Rangers.

Josh Hamilton has joined the fray via Twitter. The former Texas outfielder has been an object of fan anger ever since leaving the Rangers to sign a deal with the Angels, blasting Rangers fans on his way out the door.

He can sympathize with Ian Kinsler, who is being ripped by Rangers fans in the wake of his lambasting of Rangers GM Jon Daniels.

Hamilton tweeted:

Hamilton also said in a report by the Orange County Register, “At least I won’t be the only villain in Texas now.”

Kinsler in an ESPN the Magazine piece ripped Daniels, calling him a sleazeball and accusing him of conniving to push Nolan Ryan out of the picture in Texas.

Kinsler said, “To be honest with you, I hope they go 0-162. I got friends, and I love my friends, but I hope they lose their ass.”

Hamilton at least partially made his own villain’s bed when he called Dallas “not a baseball town” and accused Rangers fans of being spoiled.

Now Rangers fans have two ex-heroes to hate on. Someone should start a Dallas Haters Club.
