A.L. West: spring training high-performing players

Houston Astros – RF Marc Krauss

Chances are you’ve never heard of Krauss, unless you are an Astros fan.  However, he is trying to change that with his performance in spring training so far.  In 15 plate appearances Krauss has recorded 8 hits (.533) including 2 homers and 3 RBI.  The 26-year old is slated as the second-string rightfielder (behind L.J. Hoes), but it seems like a sure thing that he’ll provide a decent bat off the bench or possibly a platoon situation.
