Being hit by a baseball really really sucks.

Just ask the Indians’ Jason Kipnis who wound up with this juicy welt after being drilled in the back Thursday by the Royals’ Jeremy Guthrie.

OW!

It looks like the marking left after having your blood sucked by an alien parasite.

Alien bloodsucking parasite hickeys. No thanks.

Kipnis and the Indians beat the Royals 12-6 so I guess the war wound was worth it.

Actually, no. Totally not worth it. Not for a spring training game.

Not for any game.
