This could be the highlight of the entire spring so far. Portly 40-year-old Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon smacking a single to drive in a run against the Marlins.

The laws of nature dictate that, at his age and weight, Bartolo Colon should be playing games where after you get to first base you chug a beer and/or wolf down a hot dog.

In defiance of these natural laws, Colon is still in the majors. As a starting pitcher. In the National League. Where he has to hit and run the bases.

How long can Colon continue giving the finger to Father Time? At least two years, the Mets hope.
