Bryce Harper ejected from spring game after arguing call

Bryce Harper got booted from Wednesday afternoon’s spring training game between the Nationals and Cardinals after arguing an out call with the umpire.

Was Harper out on this play?

Harper obviously thought he was safe. Normally you wouldn’t expect a guy to get that heated in a spring training game.

I can only assume Harper has some history with that umpire. Or perhaps Harper escalated that on purpose because he wanted to get kicked out and hit the showers early.

Harper may initially have not cared about the call but then his brain screamed at him, “Chance to get out of here early and play some Xbox!!!”

Or maybe Harper just cares that much.
