Jonny Gomes dons stars-and-stripes blazer for White House trip

I halfway didn’t believe it when the Red Sox said they would attend their ceremonial White House visit wearing those intensely ugly patriotic blazers.

No way they’ll ever have the guts to go through with it, I told myself.

Well, I guess I was wrong. They do have the guts to go through with it.

The Red Sox will make their visit to the White House on Tuesday, and Jonny Gomes already has his blazer on.

Grown men are going to walk through the gates of the White House dressed like that.

I sincerely hope security stops them at the door and makes them put on human clothes. Fun is fun but come on, Gomes.
