Video: Ichiro robs David Ortiz with acrobatic catch

David Ortiz thought he had himself maybe a line drive home run but certainly at least a double on this one.

Until Ichiro Suzuki came out of nowhere like Spider Man and robbed him.

Papi could only smile at that one.

“Yup, you got me Ichiro. You got me dawg. You the man, dawg.”

That’s what Papi’s thinking in his mind. Probably with more profanities.

Meanwhile, Ichiro is hitting .421 and making great plays in the outfield. The guy who not long ago looked on his way out of New York is suddenly possibly the Yankees’ best player.

And Derek Jeter and Mark Teixeira are the ones who look totally broken down and finished.

Did some people out there underestimate Ichiro? Well I pity them. May their silly ideas be slow roasted for a thousand years on the spit of regret.
