The top 5 NL Rookie of the Year race through April has been a very tight. April was a big month for the NL rookies. Kris Bryant stole the headlines by being sent to Triple-A after having an outstanding Spring. More than likely, Bryant was sent down to the minor leagues so the Cubs would avoid adding to his MLB service time. Bryant hasn’t been the only dynamic rookie, though, guys like Jorge Soler, and Yasmany Tomas have been very good also. Here’s a look at the NL’s best rookies so far this season.
