Across the 30 Major League Baseball cities, baseball fans could come up with reasons why their favorite team has the best atmosphere for the great American game. Some MLB ballparks are institutions within the country itself, having been shrines to generations of fans over the decades.

There are many different factors that result in a stadium atmosphere being fantastic. One reason could be supporting a winning franchise while stuffing your face with hot dogs and beer. Another reason could be attending a game bare chested with team letters on your belly spelling out the nickname of your beloved squad.

This summer, you may find yourself longing to take a road trip away from home to visit a ballpark you have never been able to see. As an adult, you may wish to teach your children the history of the game you love and expose them to new cultures and sights that they may not find at home.

Some fans have been lucky enough to take road trips and visit stadiums in the same state during a vacation. Some have even made a bucket list to visit all 30 Major League cities. Sure, it might be tiring. It might be expensive or you may simply not have the time to go on a lengthy vacation. All of those points are valid. However, if you are looking for pointers about some beautiful stadiums to check out, you may find them among the five listed below.

This is not a definitive list of the cities with the best winning percentages. This isn’t even a list of teams closest to a World Series title this season. This is just simply a list of stadiums that have been talked about for years among North Americans as “can’t miss” stops to visit if you are nearby.
