This will undoubtedly be a difficult year for the Atlanta Braves, but Spring Training should be very exciting for Braves fans as they get a chance to take a look at what the future could look like.

More from Atlanta Braves

The Braves enter 2016 with one of the top farm systems in baseball, and most of those prospects will be in big league camp this spring. This will be the first time the organization will be able to see all of the prospects they brought in during the offseason on the field.

Guys like Aaron Blair, Chris Ellis, Dansby Swanson and Sean Newcomb will all be in camp. They will join top prospects such as Mallex Smith, Rio Ruiz, Braxton Davidson, Ozzie Albies, Lucas Sims and Tyrell Jenkins.

It’s amazing to look at that list of names and imagine what could be for the Braves in the next couple of years, and the journey for most of those prospects begins this spring.

The Braves have also brought in a large contingent of veteran players to help teach and mold these young kids as they get ready to become big-league ball players.

A lot of these guys were brought in as role models and to show what a clubhouse should look like, while others are here to try and re-establish themselves as major leaguers. They view the Braves as a team where they can get some playing time to springboard themselves into a bigger contract next year, or a trade to a contender during the season.

With those thoughts in mind, here are five bold predictions for the Braves entering spring training.
