Everyone has their way of dealing with World Series related stress. Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona’s just happens to be more delicious than most.

Terry Francona had quite the night Saturday night. According to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com, the Cleveland Indians manager had trouble sleeping, so he decided to order $44 worth of ice cream to his hotel room. Who knows what is keeping Francona up at night.

The Cubs and the Indians are now heading to a Game 6 back in Cleveland. Last night, the Cubs defeated the Indians in Game 5 of the World Series 3-2 in the last game of the series at Wrigley Field. The Cubs look to make an improbable comeback to beat the curse that has been haunting them since 1908. They will send 2015 Cy Young Award winner Jake Arrieta to the mound to face right-hander Josh Tomlin.

More from Call to the Pen

The Cubs forced Game 6 last night with Aroldis Chapman going 2.2 innings while striking out four. This might be what is keeping Francona up at night, binging on ice cream. The Cubs have not looked to use Chapman in this way so far this postseason. The Indians have been famous for using Andrew Miller for multiple innings in spots throughout October. Miller has been a huge reason the Indians are where they are right now. The Cubs have been missing a guy like Miller. Chapman has now proven he can go multiple innings in any given game and that should scare Terry Francona.

Chapman, 28, has been great for the Cubs this postseason. In 13.0 innings pitched, he has a 1-0 record and a 2.08 ERA and 18 strikeouts. The Cubs have gotten exactly what they thought they were trading for when they dealt for Chapman before the trade deadline. Miller has been even better. In 17.0 innings, Miller has struck out 29 batters with a 0.53 ERA. The tall lefty has thrived in every situation the Indians have put him in this season. Both of these guys were the talk of the trade deadline as the Yankees decided to rebuild and get rid of these two tremendous relievers.

Terry Francona has brought the Indians to a 3-2 lead in the World Series heading back to Cleveland. But he shouldn’t be sitting comfortably just yet. The Cubs have been an up and down team this postseason and it is time for them to break out. While they are playing at home, they will have to face Jake Arrieta and Kyle Hendricks in Game 6 and 7. Saturday night might not be the only night Francona is up late ordering ice cream.
