Michael’s weekly column, Saber-Slant, was published for 17 weeks and always on a Friday. Its focus was on introducing sabermetrics to those interested in learning. Topics ranged from primers and explanations of concepts to analysis of players and teams using those concepts. The goal of the series was and is to try and get people who want to know more about the world of sabermetrics caught up to speed. He was a member of the Call to the Pen staff from 3/28/2010 to 8/23/2010 and continues to write for our Florida Marlins site Marlin Maniac.
