The New York Mets have designated right handed pitcher Clint Everts for assignment.
Prior till this year Everts has been a part of the Washington Nationals organization, but he has yet to make his major league debut. Last year, in 11 games for Washington’s triple A affiliate he had a record of 2-0 while posting a 3.38 ERA. He also spent time last year in double A, where he posted a record of 3-1 with a 1.53 ERA.
