Last Winter, the San Francisco Giants traded center fielder Andres Torres to the New York Mets in a deal that brought back Angel Pagan. One year later, The Giants have given Pagan a new four-year, $40 million deal and, on Thursday, they decided to re-unite with Torres as well.

Multiple outlets are reporting that the Giants have agreed to sign the free agent to a one-year deal worth $2 million. Torres is expected to split time in left field with Gregor Blanco.

Torres, 34, enjoyed a breakout season with San Francisco in 2010, but has struggled at the plate since then. Last year with the Mets, Torres posted a .230/.327/.337 line in 132 games.

With Torres in the fold, the Giants figure to be out of the running to sign Nick Swisher, whom they had been eyeing.
