2013 MLB Draft: Round 1 Recap

Major League Baseball’s 2013 Amateur Draft kicked off last night, as teams made their selections through the first two rounds. Most of the “experts” suggest that this year’s class of potential new talent is one of the weaker ones that we’ve seen in years but there are still a number of high-quality players who’ll be taking the first steps towards beginning their professional careers.

This year’s 1st Round consisted of 33 total picks. The results were as follows:
