Check out the engagement ring Carl Crawford bought for fiancee Evelyn Lozada.
Nothing says “I love you” like an engagement ring made with a diamond the size of a Volkswagen. And nothing says “I am incredibly full of myself” like posting a picture of the Volkswagen-sized ring on Instagram.
Crawford reportedly popped the question to Lozada on Christmas morning. The real gift wasn’t Crawford’s hand in marriage though, it was the ring, which reportedly is worth $1.4 million.
Don’t worry, Crawford can afford it. He will make roughly $82 million over the next four years. Not bad for a guy a .283/.329/.407 guy who scored 62 runs.
Two words Carl: prenuptial agreement.
Too cynical? Tell that to Paul McCartney. Diamonds may be forever but love alas is not.
