Portly 37-year-old outfielder Andruw Jones could be on his way back to MLB. After a successful year in Japan with the Rakuten Eagles, Jones is reportedly drawing interest from American teams and is mulling making his way back across the Pacific.

Jones is many years removed from his prime, when he was Willie Mays-like as a centerfielder and once mashed to the tune of 51 homers (with no help whatsoever from the cream or the clear cough cough cough). But he still probably can play some outfield and the bat likely still has a couple taters left in it.

Andruw Jones as a DH/OF with Baltimore or some team like that? Sure, why not.

Even though his last Gold Glove came in 2007. Which also happens to be the last year he hit more than 20 homers.

Dang, remember when Andruw Jones first came into the league? The way he went back on balls? He was incredible. Now he’s big and fat and can’t even play CF anymore. I hate you Father Time. I really do.
