Everyone’s talking about Sunday night’s “60 Minutes” appearance by Biogenesis founder and Alex Rodriguez PED supplier Tony Bosch. That includes Chipper Jones, who had some strong opinions about Mr. Bosch and his revelations.

Strong opinions? How about really strong opinions. Chipper Jones is out of the game now so he can bring it as hard as he wants. Chipper tweeted some pretty harsh stuff about Bosch, including this gem:

Chipper is a vocal supporter of MLB’s efforts to rid the game of cheaters, and is upset that some people, including Mr. Bosch, keep characterizing these efforts as a witch hunt.

“Have any of the people on the Bosch client list NOT been suspended. Nope. Haven’t even contested it. All guilty. This is not a witch hunt!” Chipper tweeted.

Bud Selig should be glad to have a guy like Chipper in his corner. We should be glad that Chipper has elected to become an angry old ex-jock in his post-playing days. Let’s hope he doesn’t go completely off the rails like Jose Canseco.

Actually, strike that. Let’s hope he DOES go off the rails like Canseco. We need more former baseball players going nuts on Twitter.
