Being a member of the baseball Hall of Fame brings many perks and privileges, but it still won’t win you special treatment at the DMV. Nothing in this world will win you special treatment at the DMV.

Doesn’t matter who you are. Baseball Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson? Still have to wait in line at the DMV.

There is no experience in this world more humbling than going to the DMV.

The only good thing that can happen at the DMV? You might run into Rickey Henderson. Who will be waiting in line like everyone else. Standing there. Looking sad the way people only do when they’re standing in line at the DMV.

Rickey thinking to himself, “How come there’s no express line for Hall of Famers? There should be an express line for Hall of Famers. Hey, Hall of Famer here. Where’s the express line?”

Sorry Rickey, no express line. There is only one kind of line at the DMV. It’s the same line no matter who you are.

You may have been unstoppable on the baseball field, but at the DMV, you are stoppable. Y ou will stop. And stand. A long time.
