A little early for a romantic Valentine’s Day post, but what the heck?

Solid marriage proposal from the Rays’ Alex Cobb. Give him an 8.5 for creativity, and an 8.7 for execution. Any time you can get an animal to cooperate, that has to be worth an extra difficulty point.

Even the Russian judge was impressed. And you know how hard it is to impress those Russian judges.

The girlfriend was clearly impressed.

Good work Alex Cobb. You have mad marriage proposal game. No one can question that.

You have to kind of wonder what the dolphin was thinking though. Did it have any inkling what was going on?

Do dolphins have marriage proposals? Does the boy dolphin go up to the girl dolphin with a fish in his mouth all like, “Hey here’s a fish. Let’s be mates now.”

Probably not.
