Skinny CC Sabathia Went to a Knicks Game

The world is still not ready for skinny CC Sabathia. At least I’m not.

The physically diminished Yankees pitcher took in a Knicks game Wednesday night, and tweeted out a picture of himself hanging with Prison Break actor Amaury Nolasco.

It is still disturbing seeing the previously pudgy Sabathia at this new weight.

Sorry, but when large people lose a lot of weight, it never really seems like they’re healthier. It seems like they’re sick. Your first thought is, “Oh no I hope he’s all right. He looks terrible!”

Well of course he’s all right, he isn’t stuffing himself with fattening food anymore. He’s in shape now. Before he was a mess.

But why can’t my brain grasp that? Why does my mind keep rejecting skinny CC Sabathia? Why am I slightly traumatized every time I see him?

I’m sure eventually I’ll come to accept svelte Sabathia, but in the meantime, I’ll just have to deal. It just bothers me for some deep, profound, bizarre reason.
