It’s a new start for Prince Fielder in Texas. He’s in the best shape of his life. He’s ready to go.

Here’s our first look at Prince taking some BP hacks in his Rangers gear, courtesy of Rich Durrett.

I can see his taste in pants hasn’t changed. He’s still wearing the baggiest pants around.

Ron Washington has already said Fielder will be hitting third in the lineup, so I guess there goes any chance of him dropping more weight and becoming a lead-off man.

That’s okay Prince, keep the weight. You’ve got nifty feet for a big chubby first baseman. Your diving skills need some work as we saw last year during the playoffs.

But that doesn’t matter as long as you can mash.
