Honest. I’m not making this up one bit, but you are probably well aware of this. Actual LIVE MLB games! Sure, spring training games, but still, it’s baseball!

Starting today, MLB Network will begin broadcasting live spring training games. Between today until March 29th, MLBN will air at least one live game a day. Some days, two will be live. Others may have three. And on one day, there’s even four. And all 30 teams will have at least one game air on the network. We’ll keep you updated on MLBN’s daily schedule here at Call to the Pen.

For today, a total of three games will air.

At 1:00 p.m. ET, the LIVE game will be the Toronto Blue Jays heading to Clearwater to face the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Blue Jays are slated to throw J.A. Happ, Todd Redmond, Kyle Drabek, Chad Jenkins, Neil Wagner, and Mickey Storey.

Those scheduled to pitch for Philley are Roberto Hernandez, Jeff Manship, Antonio Bastardo, Brad Lincoln, Jake Diekman, Kevin Munson and Phillippe Aumont.

Then, at 5:00 p.m. ET, the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians square off from the spring training facility they share in Goodyear, Arizona.

For the Reds, well, see for yourself…

The Tribe should trot out Trevor Bauer, Aaron Harang, Nick Hagadone, C.C. Lee, J.C. Ramirez and Preston Guilmet.

Finally at 9:00 p.m. ET, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks renew their rivalry (kind of hard to say that for a spring training game, but you never know) at the D’backs spring home of Salt Water Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona.

LA will send Clayton Kershaw, with the quartet ofJose Dominguez, Ross Stripling, Seth Rosin and Javy Guerra also available.

Arizona will counter with Brandon McCarthy as their starter, but unfortunately, no other deatils have been released regarding who will follow McCarthy.

So, we can now watch some live games. Some of the names might not be familiar to yo, but that’s one of the great aspects of spring training games.

According to the network’s press release, fans in the Toronto, Cincinnati and Arizona will have the game featuring their team available in their respective local market.
