Video: Brandon Phillips line drive hits umpire Brad Myers in the junk

This is something you never want to see, I don’t care if the man is an umpire or what.

Brandon Phillips hits an absolute laser beam of a line drive and…if you’re a man you might not want to watch.

It gets umpire Brad Myers right there.

Right in the enchilada, as Bob Uecker would say.

Myers goes down like he was shot and remains on the ground for an extended period, experiencing the kind of agony that can’t be described and frankly shouldn’t be described.

You can tell by Brandon Phillips’ reaction that he is very concerned. Not just for Myers but Myers’ potential progeny.

It’s one thing to injure a man, quite another to be responsible for shutting down his blood line forever.

Hopefully for Myers everything will still work and he can go on to have a normal productive male life.
