Question: Do you usually plan what concessions you will buy before you get to the baseball stadium? Well if you do, I have great news for you if you should happen to take a jaunt to Toledo for the upcoming season.
Before that (and I’ll be brief), it seems like everyone is now getting in on offering different concessions for the upcoming season. The Aussies are getting a jump on us as Maury Brown of Forbes has details on a $40 hot dog that will be offered at the Opening Series. Yep, 4-0 bucks.
Dan told you of the monstrosity of a corn dog the Arizona Diamondbacks will be offering. Yesterday, I learned that Wrigley Field will have a few new items in celebration of its 100th year.
But not a single one of those compare to this from the Toledo Mud Hens!
Other items the Mud Hens will introduce this season include a grilled hot dog topped with mac and cheese and bacon, chicken and waffles and a third-pound Angus burger with bleu cheese and mushrooms. Served on a kaiser bun, too.
