No this is not an April Fools Day bit. This is a real story. A story that is both happy and sad.

The sad part? Hank the dog, the stray who was taken in by the Brewers during spring training and turned into a mascot, is no longer fully a man.

On Tuesday, Hank the dog was taken in to be neutered.

The happy part? The Brewers did the responsible thing by having Hank fixed.

As Bob Barker has been telling us for seemingly centuries, it’s a very good idea to have our pets spayed and neutered.

The Brewers set a good example for all pet owners by having Hank taken care of.

We wish Hank all the best as he recovers from his little procedure.
