Sure, Bobby Parnell didn’t have the zip. (Per MLB.com’s Joey Nowak, it’s been revealed that Parnell has a partial tear in his right MCL.) The Mets bullpen as a whole coughed up a winnable game (aside from Papa Grande). Granderson certainly didn’t have a stellar debut as a Met. He went 0-for-5. Mets fan have to hope they’ll get some production for $60 million.

I suspect they will.
