You probably thought you’d never hear the words “crack pipe” escape the lips of legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully.

Well you thought wrong.

Listen as Vin unfurls a tale about Torii Hunter, Torii’s troubled father and an implement used for smoking crack cocaine.

An implement Scully is not sure what to call.

Scully lives up there in the clouds with the other legends, untroubled by such earthly concerns as crack addiction.

So when he has to talk about earthly things like crack addiction, naturally it’s a little uncomfortable.

It’s like Achilles talking about mildew. Apollo discoursing upon dandruff. Zeus discussing pubic lice.

It’s just all wrong.
