Kenan Thompson of SNL goofs on David Ortiz Obama selfie

Well it was bound to happen. The SNL folks have taken on David Ortiz and the great Obama selfie scandal of 2014.

Kenan Thompson whipped out his Papi impression Saturday night on Weekend Update.

The gist of the bit is that Ortiz likes talking about food and has lots of endorsement deals. And claps his hands a lot.

I’m not sure it’s going into the SNL baseball parody treasure chest with Garrett Morris’ infamous “Baseball’s been very very good to me” line, but it’s okay.

They got the facial hair right. That’s the main thing.
