Travis was born and raised in a small suburban town just east of Toronto, ON called Cobourg. He's a PhD student in sociology, but he wastes most of his time watching/reading about/writing about baseball. He currently lives in Windsor, ON, just across the Canadian border from Detroit where he works as a singer-songwriter and a Graduate Teaching Assistant and researcher. He is and always has been a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
