Dylan Hernadez of the Los Angeles Times is reporting(Via Twitter) that the Los Angles Dodgers have sold left handed reliever Eric Stults to the Hiroshima Carp of Japan. Stults, was being shopped by the Dodgers for the past week when it became evident that he was not going to be the fifth starter in the Dodgers rotation. It was also believed that other Japanese teams like the Hanshin Tigers and Chiba Lotte Marines were interested in Stults.
Last year in 10 starts with the Dodgers, Stults posted a 4-3 record with a 4.86 ERA while striking out 33 batters.
