The Atlanta Braves and outfielder Alex Romero have agreed on minor league deal, Romero will be assigned to the Braves double A squad.
Romero, 26, spent most of the 2009 season with the Arizona Diamondbacks triple A affiliate where he hit .348/.416/.462. However, in 157 plate appearances with the Diamondbacks last year, Romero struggled hitting .248/.306/.338. Two years ago, Romero was considered by Baseball America to be an “ideal fourth outfielder”.
