June 24th saw 16 of the 30 MLB organizations make some sort of roster move. Just like the 6/23 report, this one lacks any true attention grabbing transaction so once again Roster Moves is straight forward and bare bones.

AL Central:
The Cleveland Indians claimed INF-Jayson Nix (27) off of waivers from the division rival White Sox. They also optioned 2B-Luis Valbuena (24) and RHP-Jensen Lewis (26) to Columbus. Finally, the team designated RHP-Shane Lindsay (25) for assignment.
The Minnesota Twins outrighted INF-Brendan Harris (29) to Triple-A Rochester and called up OF-Jason Repko (29).
AL East:
The Tampa Bay Rays optioned C-Dioner Navarro (26) to Durham and called up OF-Matt Joyce (25) to take his place on the roster.
The Boston Red Sox placed 3B-Mike Lowell (36) on the 15-day disabled list and activated RHP-Daisuke Matsuzaka (29).
AL West:
The Texas Rangers released C-Toby Hall (34). They also outrighted RHP-Warner Madrigal (26) to Oklahoma City.
The Seattle Mariners signed RHP-Joe Nelson (35) to a minor league contract. He has been assigned to Triple-A Tacoma.
NL Central:
The Pittsburgh Pirates designated LHP-Dana Eveland (26) for assignment. They also called up RHP-Steven Jackson (28) and LHP-Justin Thomas (26) from Indianapolis.
The Houston Astros placed RHP-Felipe Paulino (26) on the 15-day disabled list with shoulder tendinitis. The move was made retroactive to June 21st. The team called up RHP-Josh Banks (27) from Round Rock to take Paulino’s place on the roster.
The Cincinnati Reds signed OF-Gary Matthews Jr (35) to a minor league contract.
NL East:
After he cleared waivers, the Atlanta Braves outrighted C-Clint Sammons (27) to Gwinnett. The Braves also activated SS-Diory Hernandez (26) from the 60-day DL and optioned him to Triple-A.
The Philadelphia Philies placed RHP-Chad Durbin (32) on the 15-day disabled list and called up RHP-Nelson Figueroa (36) from Lehigh Valley.
The New York Mets optioned LHP-Raul Valdes (32) to Buffalo and called up C-Josh Thole (23).
The Florida Marlins signed RHP-Armando Benitez (37) to a minor league contract.
NL West:
The Los Angeles Dodgers signed RHP-Jesus Colome (32) to a minor league contract.
Designated for assignment on June 22nd, RHP-Juan Rincon (31) cleared waivers and was outrighted to Colorado Springs by the Rockies.
The San Diego Padres optioned C-Dusty Ryan (25) to Portland.
