Roster Moves (6/19): A day of minor moves
Here is another “catch-up” edition of Roster Moves published for posterity. On June 19th, 7 teams and just 11 players were involved in the transaction action.

AL Central:
The Minnesota Twins called up RHP-Jeff Manship (25) and optioned SS-Trevor Plouffe (24) to Rochester.
AL East:
The Boston Red Sox optioned LHP-Felix Doubront (22) to Pawtucket and called up RHP-Robert Manuel (26).
AL West:
No moves to report.
NL Central:
Pittsburgh Pirates LHP-Jack Taschner (32), who was DFA’d on June 9th, elected to become a free agent.
The Milwaukee Brewers released RHP-Mike Jones (27).
NL East:
The Philadelphia Philles designated RHP-Scott Mathieson (26) for assignment and called up C-Dane Sardinha (31) from Lehigh Valley.
The New York Mets acquired OF-Jorge Padilla (30) from the Toronto Blue Jays and optioned him to Buffalo.
NL West:
The Los Angeles Dodgers placed RHP-Carlos Monasterios (24) on the 15-day disabled list. The injury in question is a blister on his index finger. The move was made to open up a spot on the roster to activate RHP-Vicente Padilla (32) from the 15-day DL.
