The Arizona Diamondbacks look to continue their regular season success today when they begin their postseason series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Waiting until the 11th hour, the Diamondbacks NLDS playoff roster is now set.
Arizona will go with 21 game winner Ian Kennedy this afternoon against the Brewers. Along with Kennedy, the Diamondbacks will fill out the front three of their rotation with Daniel Hudson and Joe Saunders.
Other pitchers Arizona will carry for round one of the playoffs will be closer J.J. Putz, David Hernandez, Brad Ziegler, Bryan Shaw, Joe Paterson, Jarrod Parker, Micah Owings and Josh Collmenter.
Diamondbacks infielders include Paul Goldschmidt, Aaron Hill, John McDonald, Ryan Roberts, Geoff Blum, Sean Burroughs and Lyle Overbay. Miguel Montero and Henry Blanco will handle catching duties.
In the outfield, Arizona has tabbed Gerardo Parra, Chris Young, Justin Upton Willie Bloomquist and Collin Cowgill for the NLDS.
The Diamondbacks and Brewers begin their series this afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
