World Series Game 6 Postponed Due to Rain

Major League Baseball has officially postponed game six of the World Series due to rain.  Tonight’s regularly scheduled contest in St. Louis has been pushed back until Thursday.  If necessary, a game seven will be played on Friday evening.

Meteorologists expect rain to pour consistently through the evening in St. Louis, resulting in around 1/3 of an inch of water when all is said and done.  With the rain will come a drop in temperature, which is expected to dip into the 40’s later tonight.

The forecast for Thursday is much better than the washout offered today.  Game time and schedules are the same for game six and seven as originally planned, the contests will each just be pushed back a single day.
