MLB Game Recaps: Carlos Santana Single Wins it for Cleveland Indians

facebooktwitterreddit

There’s nothing like a walk-off win.  Carlos Santana knows this, and so do his teammates.  Santana

knocked in the game winning run for Cleveland in the 11th innings on a single.  The Indians are playing well, and wins like this bring a team even closer together.

Asdrubal Cabrera tied the game prior to Santana’s walk-off.  Cabrera hit an RBI single after the Indians began a rally despite allowing Seattle to go ahead in the top of the 11th.

The Indians managed to comeback despite Seattle’s early 4-0 lead.  Seattle scored once in the third, once in the fifth, and twice in the sixth before Cleveland could even push across one run.
