2012 MLB All-Star Game Starting Lineups

The starters have been announced.  It’s time to debate who is deserving and who is not.  The debates will rage

on further as the reserves and pitchers are announced.

American League Starting Lineup

2B: Robinson Cano
SS: Derek Jeter
3B: Adrian Beltre
C: Mike Napoli
OF: Josh Hamilton
OF: Curtis Granderson
OF: Jose Bautista

National League Starting Lineup

1B: Joey Votto
2B: Dan Uggla
SS: Rafael Furcal
3B: Pablo Sandoval
C: Buster Posey
OF: Carlos Beltran
OF: Melky Cabrera
OF: Matt Kemp

The starters were named based on fan votes.  More fans voted for this year’s All-Star game than ever before.  Much of this is due to the surge in baseball’s popularity of late and the push MLB has made using social media outlets.
