Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports
Mike Minor came out and surprised everyone with a great start against the Los Angeles Dodgers second ace, Zack Greinke in Game 2. Minor went 6.1 innings, spreading around eight hits and allowing only one run. His counterpart Greinke threw 6 complete innings, giving up only four hits, but allowed two runs. It was a very well-played game with great defense from both teams. The Braves difference maker was turning three double plays including one on Carl Crawford with the tying run at third base in the top of the 7th. The bright spot for the Dodgers offense was a Hanley Ramirez two run home run while the Braves got a huge hit from Jason Heyward with two outs that brought in two runs in the 7th to give the Braves the lead. The Braves came out on top to even the series as they headed to Los Angeles.
With the series tied at one a piece, Game 3 will be the pivotal game in the series.
