3. Seattle Mariners

The additions of Robinson Cano, Corey Hart and Logan Morrison should be a good start for the resurgence of baseball in Seattle, but they still have glaring needs.

Last season, the Mariners had a terrible bottom half of the rotation. The last three spots in the rotation were held down by a mix of young guys and veterans who combined for a 5.83 ERA in 536 innings. If they can add depth to the rotation, the issues in the bullpen will decrease. They may be in on Tanaka, but Garza may be a better option. He doesn’t have a draft pick attached to him, he has major league experience and he is an innings eater.

Finally, if they want to get the most out of their investment in Cano he needs some protection. They lack dept in the outfield, so Cruz is an option, but if they have to overpay like they did for Cano, he may not be an option for Seattle.
