Winning the World Series comes with perks you never even thought about. Like for instance, having the chance to hang out with the world’s elite show dogs.
Here then is Jonny Gomes having a moment with Sky, the wire fox terrier that won best in show at this year’s Westminster Dog Show.

How much is that dog worth now? And the owners have no problem with random baseball players picking it up and squeezing it?
What if the dog gets squeezed too much and loses its ability to breed? Then it’s basically worthless right? Might as well leave it tied to a tree by the side of the road.
And what’s next for Jonny Gomes? Heading down to spring training? Um no, not exactly. Gomes next will shave his beard for charity…on the Today Show.
Eventually, I’m sure he’ll make his way down to spring training.
