Los Angeles Angels – CF Mike Trout
The best player in baseball hasn’t missed a beat. He’s batting.429 with 5 RBI (including a grand slam this week). Clearly Trout is treating these exhibition games just like any other game. He’s playing at a high level in March, which does not bode well for pitchers in the American League. Trout is emerging as the team leader on a team with a lot of veteran presence, but it’s hard not to be influenced by how well this kid plays.
