Wil Myers circles the bases thanks to pair of Blue Jays errors
It was that kind of opening day for the Toronto Blue Jays.
As if getting thumped by the Rays 9-2 wasn’t bad enough, the Jays went full Bad News Bears in the field.
This play had more comedy than the final episode of How I Met Your Mother. The Rays’ Wil Myers rounds the bases thanks to a pair of fielding gaffes by Toronto.
Pitcher Jeremy Jeffress tries to throw Myers out at first after the Tropicana chopper and…it’s a little wide.
Jose Bautista retrieves the errant throw and attempts to gun down Myers at third and…bad decision cause that throw is wild and Myers trots home.
Terrible decision making combined with miserable execution makes for a hilarious clown show.
All you people picking the Rays for the World Series…looking good so far.
