Sometimes keeping your eyes on the ball means taking them off something else in your surroundings that might be somewhat more important.
This Dodgers fan had a bead on a ground-rule double that bounced high off the warning track, but unfortunately forgot that he also happened to be standing on stairs.
Fielding a high hopper off the rubberized warning track is only made more difficult when one is attempting to navigate stairs at the same time.
The fan wasn’t hurt, so it’s okay to laugh and call him an idiot.
Ha ha. Idiot.
