Magic Johnson was at the Dodgers game Wednesday night because, you know, he kind of owns the team.

Yeah, Magic Johnson is a Dodgers owner. Someone get this news to Tigers broadcaster Mario Impemba.

Maybe Impemba was just joking, but in this clip from the game, he seems oblivious to Magic’s status.

A foul ball finds Magic in the stands, and Impemba seems really impressed that Magic was able to score such good seats. At Dodger Stadium. The home park of the team he owns.

Actually, both he and broadcast partner Rod Allen seem surprised Magic is even at the game.

He gave the ball to a fan? Oh my God. Magic Johnson is such a great guy.

Or maybe he doesn’t need the baseball because he’s the fricking owner of the fricking Dodgers and he can have all the baseballs he wants?

Look, I know the Tigers are in a different league, but dang. Mario Impemba, do some homework about the National League.

Does Impemba know the Dodgers used to be in Brooklyn?
